Getting Started

Learn how to create your account, set up a workspace, and launch your first site with Sitery.

1. Create Your Account

Start by creating a Sitery account. You'll need to provide your email address and create a password. We'll send you a verification email to confirm your account.

2. Create a Workspace

Workspaces help you organize your sites. When you sign up, we'll create a default workspace for you. You can create additional workspaces for different projects or clients.

Workspaces allow you to:

  • Organize sites by project or client
  • Invite team members with different permission levels
  • Manage billing separately for each workspace

3. Create Your First Site

From your dashboard, click the "New Site" button to create a new site. You'll need to:

  1. Choose a site name - This will be used for your temporary sitery.io subdomain (e.g., mysite.sitery.io)
  2. Set admin credentials - Choose a username and password for admin access
  3. Click Create - Your site will be provisioned in under a minute

Once created, your site will be live at your temporary subdomain with SSL already configured.

4. Access Your Site

After your site is created, you can:

  • Visit your site - Click the site URL to view your live site
  • Access admin - Go to yoursite.sitery.io/wp-admin to log in
  • Connect via SFTP - Use the SFTP credentials shown in your dashboard
  • Access the database - Use the database credentials for direct MySQL access

5. Next Steps

Now that your site is running, you might want to:

  • Connect a custom domain - Use your own domain with automatic SSL
  • Learn about backups - Understand how automatic and manual backups work
  • Install themes and plugins - Customize your site
